High School students meet pupils of the primary school “Zollschule“, Lana
On 15th November, “Tag des Vorlesens”, students of the 5th class PG went to Lana with their English teacher to read out to pupils of the 4th and 5th classes. Younger pupils were very interested in the books “Just like my mum” and “Just like my dad” and, although beginners of learning the English language, they followed the plot enthusiastically and happily created their own lion puppet afterwards.
“The Gruffalo” was the story read to the higher classes and here as well, pupils were highly motivated to participate both in the listening and in the practical handwork.
Finally, we played silent post, which was great fun, similarly to the catch-me-if-you-can play during the break. We promised to meet them again next year.
